Serviced by professional bike mechanics, our fleet is ideal for your coastal adventure or longer rides like the C2C or Coast & Castles. Bike hire includes a helmet. For longer rides we can offer an emergency tool kit, pump and lock too.
Cruiser: £10 two hours • £15 three hours • £20 four hours
Touring Hybrid: £15 two hours • £20 half day • £30 full day
Tandem: £20 two hours • £30 half day • £40 full day
Kids Bike (20/24") £7.50 two hours • £10 half day • £20 full day
Toddler seats, kids trailers, tag-alongs, racks and pannier bags are also available from £5 per hire.

Guided Rides
We have two great British Cycling certified bike leaders at CBK who can lead short rides and day rides of the local area. Routes include the eastern sections of the Hadrian Cycleway and Coast to Coast, the southern sections of Coast and Castles and local routes around the coast. We charge £30 an hour or £120 a day and can take up to 8 riders per leader. Cycle hire is also available for an extra charge. Call Simon or Dave on 0191 251 9412 or email us for more information.
Bag & Bike Storage
We're at the Tyneside end of both the C2C and the Coast & Castles bike routes. We can store bags, bikes and other small packages securely to assist you with your ride planning. Bag storage is £3.60 per bag, per day. Bike storage is £7 per bike, per day. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Located on National Cycle Network's Route 1 and just a short distance from the end of the C2C, we ideally placed for your next adventure by bike. Hire bikes, take a guided cycle tour or join our regular club. We also offer bag and bike drop services too.
